Job Summary
Licensed Customs Broker
- Will be Responsible for customs and logistics for import clients
- Assist the Manager(s) and Supervisors in the continuing development of additional international transportation sources of expedited and deferred service providers
- File proper Custom entries and obtain other Government Agency releases
- Audits Custom brokerage files and maintains adequate accounting reports for audits
- Oversees client profiles with updated and current information
- Correctly classifies according to the US Customs Harmonized Tariff Code
- Oversees and ensures timely payments of all vendors and Customs Duties
- Develops SOPs and must be able to assess clients’ current and changing needs to improve and correct Customs filing solutions
- Develop goals and objectives of the department to align with the vision and strategic roadmap, including developing local policies, procedures and standards as needed
- Provide reports to Senior Leadership on international revenues, profits, efficiency and quality. Monitor agent’s effectiveness, ensuring customer needs and expectations are met. Manage the operation within budget, and participate in the budget process.
