Location: Corporate Office - Richmond, VA

Department:Human Resources

• Input fast and accurate data entry into the Lawson Payroll system including new hires, salary adjustments, changes in employee information, terminations, bank information, etc.
• Assist in calculating trip cards for drivers
• Handle direct deposit requests and monitor weekly transmissions
• Assist in printing, sorting, and distributing weekly payroll checks
• Runs weekly transmissions and handles direct deposits
• Provide customer service to employees, management and outside agencies
• Adhere to strict confidentiality
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Fast and accurate alpha/ numeric data entry skills, including Excel
• Prior Payroll or Human Resources data entry and customer service experience
• Good Accounting/ Math aptitude
• Ability to multi task and problem solve in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Must be capable of detail-oriented independent work in a fast-paced team environment with weekly deadlines
• Prior Lawson Payroll software, AS/400 and Kronos experience preferred
• Must be able to work overtime, including longer hours on Mondays and Tuesdays
• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 12 credit hours in college level accounting/ math is desired
