Estes Repeats as The Home Depot’s LTL Carrier of the Year
RICHMOND, VA—Estes has once again been awarded The Home Depot’s LTL Carrier of the Year. Estes received this same recognition last year, and its Level2 Logistics division was likewise cited in 2017 as Carrier of the Year in the Store Delivery category.
“Repeating as LTL Carrier of the Year recipient is quite an honor,” said Estes’ President and CEO Rob Estes. “The Home Depot is an outstanding organization that once again appears on Fortune’s Most Admired Companies list. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to contribute to their ongoing success.”
The Home Depot, the world’s largest home improvement specialty retailer, selected its winning partners by evaluating Carrier Score-carding Reports plus the candidates’ ease of doing business, such as the strength of the alliance and speed to engage. Surge capacity—along with support during emergencies and disasters—was another key consideration of the Atlanta, GA-based company.
