At Estes, your peace of mind is our priority. That’s why we offer affordable cargo protection that covers your shipment at its full value in the event of loss or damage.

Estes’ Full Value Coverage offers many exceptional benefits you won’t find with standard limited liability coverage. When you purchase Full Value Coverage:

  • Your shipment will be covered at the invoice value
  • Your shipment will be protected from losses caused by Acts of God or natural disasters
  • Concealed damage will be covered when reported within five days of delivery

Full Value Coverage can be requested in multiple ways:

  • In the Bill of Lading tool on My Estes, in the Freight Information section, check the box that reads “I would like Full Value Coverage” and enter the coverage amount
  • In the Rate Quote tool on My Estes, in the Freight Information section, check the box that reads “I would like Full Value Coverage” and enter the coverage amount
  • In the Rate Quote Results screen, use the new "Affordable Cargo Protection" box; click "Calculate Coverage," enter your desired coverage amount, and it will be added to your quote
  • Clearly write “Full Value Coverage” as well as the total invoice value on your Bill of Lading; information on how to determine the rate for a shipment can be found here

Note: In order to receive FVC, the request for FVC must appear on the Bill of Lading and must include the coverage text and amount. If the request is not specified on the BOL, or is removed from the BOL, the request will not be valid.

Please note: If the value of your shipment is over $150,000, Estes must approve your Full Value Coverage request.
