- MABD (Must Arrive By Date): Delivery within a specified window before the MABD. This solution is designed to meet retailer-driven delivery specifications.
- MDDW (Multi-Day Delivery Window): Delivery of a shipment within a specified number of days.
- NSNL (No Sooner No Later): NSNL shipments can’t arrive a day earlier or later than requested. Our solution for date-specific delivery of freight is valuable for customers with tight time restrictions.
NOTE: If used with our standard transit guaranteed service, we require adequate time for the shipment to move from the origin to destination based on our standard transit schedule. Be sure to choose an expedited solution if the shipment requires service faster than standard transit. Also, NSNL shipments cannot be delivered on a standing appointment (such as at the retailer’s distribution center) unless it is the requested due date.
- OTIF (On Time In Full) – Shipment delivery when and how the retailer needs it to optimize their delivery flow.

Volume or Truckload Time Critical
If your V/TL freight requires an extra level of attention, call our Time-Critical team. We offer two V/TL service levels:
The fastest non-customized option that delivers on the standard LTL transit day with a by-5 p.m. guarantee
Delivery on the standard LTL transit plus one day with a by-5 p.m. guarantee
For volume and truckload guaranteed, contact the Time-Critical team.
Customers can guarantee a customized pickup date, arrival date, time, or time-range window. They can also arrange for special equipment needs for volume and truckload shipments (including flatbed loads). Call us at 1-800-645-3952 or email email@example.com.
For guaranteed service by 5 p.m. on the standard transit date, Time Critical Select Members can either place the time-critical sticker for the appropriate service on the BOL. They can also write the full service-level name in the special-instructions section of the BOL.
Select Members only need to contact the time-critical team for shipments with deliveries by 10 a.m. or noon, along with volume LTL (greater than 10,000 lbs. or 12 linear feet) or expedited service. Signed contracts are only required when the shipment pricing falls outside of tariff pricing.

Identifying time critical service level on the BOL
The shipper must indicate the appropriate Time Critical service on the Bill of Lading (BOL). We provide stickers to Select customers to make this process easier. Non-Select customers can simply write or type the appropriate phrase on the BOL according to the chart:
