Estes Expands Network With 17 Terminal Openings, Adding 1,000+ Doors

Richmond, VA—In 2025, Estes grew its nationwide network by opening five new terminals, moving and expanding 16 more, and adding 1,038 doors to meet growing customer demand. The carrier now has 13,200 doors—an 8.7% increase in 2025 and a 32% gain over the past five years. At this pace, Estes is on track to surpass 14,000 doors by the end of 2026.

In addition to expanding network capacity, Estes invested in new equipment throughout the year, including 1,170 tractors, 600 trailers, 54,000 load bars, 246,000+ straps, and 365,000+ airbags.

And by continuing to invest in advanced operations technology, the carrier reduced shipment handling, minimized unnecessary miles, improved fleet safety and roadworthiness, and provided customers with near-instant delivery confirmation.
